Google, busy choreographing its dance routine with homogenous algorithms and staple technologies, didn’t foresee the alluring waltz of AI in advertising. However, the ever-so-humble Bing mastered this dance long ago and is now waiting at the sidelines, smirking at Google’s late realization.

Yet, Google’s trying hard not to break a sweat over the colossal task that lies ahead. They’re promising AI-driven applications that’ll attract advertisers like bees to honey. So, the fairy godmother of the search world has finally decided to show up at the ball, tiptoeing and playing catch-up in the AI-advertising waltz.

Microsoft’s Bing discreetly added AI to its advertising arsenal and sat back to watch the fireworks. Not necessarily the life of the party but certainly a strategic player, Bing has been delivering personalized advertisements based on user behavior. Because, let’s face it, in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, antiquated, one-size-fits-all advertisements simply won’t cut it.

Given this, it’s hard to suppress a smile while watching Google scramble to add AI-based features to their advertising toolkit. Maybe Google could use some AI-driven humility and learn a thing or two from its humble peer, Bing. After all, even giants need to stoop sometimes to progress.

So here’s the real question – when will Google stop dancing solo and start a beautiful duet with AI in advertising? While we wait for that spectacle, Google might just need a fashion tip or two from Bing for the next industry soirĂ©e.
